 Job Vacancy – Field Service Engineer
 
 Job Description
					Key Duties
 
					
					Visits to customer’s premises in the UK and possibly overseas, to service tool setting and gauging equipment. This may occasionally entail staying away from home for multiple nights during the week.Visits to customers to install new equipment /carry out regular annual maintenance/repair faulty equipment.Personal contact with Customers with respect to arranging service calls.Assistance with installation of all equipment on projects in the UK and overseasGeneral administration and record keeping on service schedules and reportsPotentially	 visits to customer’s premises abroad for up to a maximum of 2/3 weeks per visit, once or twice per year may be required.You will act as the company representative whilst on customers’ premises 
 Background / skill requirements
 
					Good telephone manner essentialAble to work and plan schedules on own initiativeApplicant must have a good working knowledge of: - Microsoft Word. Excel, databases etc. Specific ‘on the job’ training will be given to supplement the above core skillsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality system & ISO 14001 Environment, and Health & safety regulations and preparation of risk assessments and method statements would be an advantage.Energetic and flexible work ethic - multi-tasking ability.Full, Clean driving licence essential. 
 Salary
 Salary will be negotiable, based on experience. A car will be provided and other benefits
 
 Location
 Based at our Office at Amberley Court, Sheffield S9, but mainly working on customer premises in the UK and Overseas
 
 Conditions
 
					39 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8-30am to 5-00pm, Friday 8-30am to 4.00pmHalf hour lunch break dailyHowever, you must be prepared to work extra time, as and when required, particularly during busy periods in order to maintain the customers’ service requirementsFull time permanent position for the right personInitial 6 months trial periodImmediate start available.
