Broach Trolley

Installation The lifting apparatus is ready to be used once the broaching tool has been cleaned. It is designed for industrial usage with a tough powder coat finish and handles to guide the heavy tooling into place. We provided full training and all the equipment is clearly labelled with instructions on the correct procedures to follow.
Lifting the broaching tool The hooks on the hoisting gear allow the broach to be properly positioned and then either put in or taken out of the wash machine safely with the help of the overhead crane.
Broach Trolley The heavy tool is placed onto the trolley and is secured using the restraints at both ends. The clamps ensure that the broach cannot move during transport. There are two sets of clamps so that one can be used for transporting the replacement tool and the other for the used one.
Simple Tool Positioning The trolley bed can be tilted using the hand wheel, allowing the broach to be safely repositioned, ready to be loaded into the machine. Heavy duty brakes on the castors as well as the foot brakes ensures that the loader cannot move. The low centre of gravity provides stability. The pivot design also allows for the equipment to be inspected or have maintenance work carried out on it, prior to use. The construction of the handcart allows one person to operate it and easily transport the broaching tool or other heavy item to and from the production line, saving both time and money.
