Plastixin
Plastixin is an edge cleaner which will not leave behind an oily residue. It is an essential addition to any gauge since it is ideal for removing debris on the edges of tools which are not visible to the naked eye, but can be seen through the camera and may affect the measurement.
The smallest amount of fluff or dirt on a tool can affect your product. Get a small ball of Plastixin, dab it on the edge to clean it and then continue gauging.
